Create a Circle of Care

Once you have signed up, Pathroot automatically sets up a group for you to add family, friends and supporters to your circle of care.

Find Your Group

Invite Others to Join

Click "Invite Members," enter their name and email, and Pathroot will send an invitation to accept.

Remind them to Join

If invitations are not accepted, go to your group and click "Resend Invite" to send another email.

Manage Your Group

As the group owner, you can add or remove members and grant management permissions.

How do I sign up if I was referred by a treatment program?

If a treatment program referred you, just follow the link they provided or enter your referral code during sign-up. This connects your account to your program so they can support you as needed.

Can I sign up on my own without a referral?

es! You can join Pathroot directly by clicking “Sign Up” on our website. Whether you’re in recovery or supporting someone who is, we’ll guide you through the setup step by step.

Is there a free trial?

Yes! All new members get a 14-day free trial to explore the platform, access resources, and see how Pathroot fits into their recovery journey. No credit card required to start.

What’s the application process like?

It’s quick and easy. We’ll ask a few short questions to understand your role (individual or supporter), your recovery goals, and how we can personalize your experience.

What is a Circle of Care, and how do I create one?

Your Circle of Care includes the people you trust — like family, friends, or a recovery coach — who you want to stay involved. You can invite them once you have signed up by finding "My Group" on the navigation bar of your dashboard.

Will the treatment program that referred me stay involved?

The referring program has a dashboard to help them see how you are doing and may choose to stay in touch with you through text messages, surveys or emails to offer on-going encouragement and support.

Do I need to download an app to participate?

No. Participating in Pathroot does not require you to download an app. You can participate using your smart phone, tablet or laptop.

What can I do once I sign up?

Once you’re in, you can explore guided recovery tracks, connect with Rootie (our AI peer support), join support groups, track your progress, and invite your Circle of Care. It’s all designed to support you one step at a time.
