Over the span of almost three decades, Carolyn Bradfield founded five companies and profitably exited four of them. Her career as an entrepreneur began in 1991 as the co-founder of InterCall, an audio and web conferencing company that grew to the largest conferencing provider in the world. Carolyn went on to found and sell three other conferencing businesses, the latest exit in 2013.
In 2004, she co-founded Phoenix Outdoor, a North Carolina licensed adolescent treatment program known for its work in addiction and family support. The family support program delivered virtually featured a parent portal, online support groups, educational webinars and telehealth appointments. The program was sold to CRC Health (now Acadia Healthcare) and operated until 2023 under the direction of SUWS of the Carolinas.
In 2013, Carolyn cofounded Convey Services, an Atlanta-based SaaS solutions company delivering innovative solutions in channel marketing, education and virtual events through enterprise-grade portals offering a seamless and intuitive interface that enhances collaboration, knowledge sharing, and active participation. After the overdose death of her daughter, Carolyn spearheaded the formation of InterAct LifeLine under the Convey umbrella to use technology to empower treatment programs to offer post-treatment support to discharged patients.
Today, Carolyn is serving as the interim CEO of Pathroot Health guiding the organization to deliver an innovative solution using real time monitoring through wearable technology along with education and engagement to help patients and their families reduce relapse and improve recovery.
