FAQ

How do I setup a family account?

Download the Pathroot app or go to the Pathroot portal and "sign up". Select a plan, create your account, and start adding family members.

Who can be part of a family account?

Add anyone to your family group that is important in the support of your loved one struggling with substance use disorder or who is in recovery. Pathroot cannot accept members who are 14 or younger.

What is the cost?

Pathroot is free to join to gain access to our Learning Centers, Resources and Community. When Pathroot launches, there will be a monthly subscription for a family to gain access to support groups, discussion forums, peer mentors and educational programs.

How does a family member get added?

You can add them directly to the account, or send them a link to join. If they have the link, they would download the app, enter the code, and provide information about themselves.

How do I assign roles to each member of my group?

As the account holder, you can indicate which members of your group will be monitored, which ones will receive alerts and notifications and general members who can participate in general Pathroot activities.

Are you a treatment provider?

Pathroot is not a treatment provider. We have a resource center to connect you to a treatment locator, teletherapy organizations or associations that provide specialized help.

Is Pathroot right for kids?

Yes. We have specialized content for kids to give them the tools they need to stay safe and healthy including improving communication skills, finding their purpose, and how to become more resilient. Children under the age of 14 can access this content without being added as a member of the family group.
